Daniel Faraday was a...um...guy with...well...a...guy who...spoke very...slowly? He spent...um...about three years...of time...yes the time...on the Island...to...how to put this...try and explain time travel...as "Whatever, Happened...Happened"...so he...he can...hmmm...try to...detonate a hydrogen bomb...three years after that...to stop everyone...everyone including himself...to come to the Island...and by that stopping himself from getting there...he doesn't realize...that...um...he stops the...um...explosion from...ever happening.
