The Island is the location where Lost takes place. A giant cork in the ocean, the island holds back the evil wine known as the Monster. But if Jacob doesn't do his job, the cork disappears, and the Monster, or the beer, or the wine, or whatever it was, gets out, and stains the world, or makes people evil, or som...where was this metaphor going again?
